Summary & Explanation

{"type":"root","children":[{"type":"paragraph","children":[{"type":"text","value":"The Notch signaling pathway controls cellular interactions important for the specification of a variety of fates in both invertebrates and vertebrates. Key players in the Notch pathway are a family of Groucho/TLE corepressor proteins. TLE1 (Transducin-Like Enhancer of Split 1) acts as a transcriptional corepressor and binds to specific DNA-binding proteins, such as members of the Runx, Hes, and LEF/TCF families, to repress their transcriptional activity. By recruiting histone deacetylases and other repressive complexes, TLE1 regulates gene expression patterns and cell fate determination. It plays important roles in processes such as neurogenesis, myogenesis, and hematopoiesis by modulating the activity of key transcription factors and signaling pathways."}]}]}

Presentation

Five slides of TLE1 positive tissues, each mounted on Hydrophilic Plus Slides, provided in a plastic mailer.

Principle of Procedure

Control slides are Hydrophilic Plus Slides with formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue or cell sections mounted on them, serving as a tool to qualitatively verify the performance of immunohistochemical staining
