Manual Staining Platforms
An efficient alternative to automated IHC.
Bio SB’s TintoDetector ImmunoDNA staining platforms provide an efficient alternative to fully automated IHC systems. Designed to support manual staining workflows, the TintoDetector accelerates manual IHC, increasing throughput without the added cost or complexity of full automation.
The TintoDetector Slide Holder (pictured right) holds 20 Cap Gap Plus Slides. Raised 75 μm spacers on the slide corners create a 150 μm gap between the slides when placed face-to-face in the holder, facilitating capillary gap action that draws reagent upward to evenly cover both slides. This design enables effective staining with reagent volumes as low as 50 μm per slide.
The TintoDetector platforms easily adapt to laboratory throughput needs while conserving valuable benchtop space. Staining systems are available in both full-size and mini configurations for flexible placement in a variety of laboratory environments.
TintoDetector ImmunoDNA System
The TintoDetector Detector System accelerates manual IHC protocols on FFPE and frozen sections. The durable stainless steel frame houses eight solution dishes and four 30-well Reagent Holders. With its compact footprint, ease of use, and versatility, the TintoDetector ImmunoDNA enables labs to significantly increase slide throughput without the cost or complexity of full automation.

TintoDetector Mini ImmunoDNA System
The TintoDetector ImmunoDNA mini is a compact version of the TintoDetector System, housing four solution dishes and two 30-well Reagent Holders. The TintoDetector Mini is recommended for use with Bio SB’s Fast Mohs IHC System.
TintoDetector Incubator
The TintoDetector incubator features three programmable temperature presets to ensure rapid and consistent heat application of up to 110 °C. The incubator's humidity chamber prevents reagent evaporation and immerses the slides in optimal conditions for staining. The TintoDetector incubator can be included with the purchase of a complete TintoDetector System, or can be purchased separately as an add-on for the TintoDetector Mini.
