MART-1, also known as Melanoma Antigen Recognized by T-cells 1 or Melan-A, is a 18 kDa transmembrane protein involved in the maturation process of melanosome cells. MART-1 is essential for the synthesis and transport of melanin, the pigment responsible for skin coloration and protection against UV radiation. MART-1 expression is tightly regulated during melanocyte development and differentiation, with minimal or no expression in most other cell types. Tyrosinase is a copper-containing enzyme present in plant and animal tissues that catalyzes the production of melanin and other pigments from tyrosine by oxidation."}]}]}

Principle of Procedure
