Chromogenic in situ Hybridization (CISH) Results in Just 4 Hours

ZytoFast® products are designed for rapid chromogenic in situ hybridization (CISH) detection of clinically relevant human pathogens, including HPV, EBV, and CMV, as well as assessment of lymphocyte clonality through Ig-κ and Ig-λ light chain RNA detection. The assays are intended for use on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections and cell samples. When used with ZytoFast PLUS Implementation Kits, signal intensity is further enhanced to support clear visualization by light microscopy.

Detection Method
ZytoFast CISH

ZytoFast® probes use oligonucleotide sequences labeled with either digoxigenin or biotin. digoxigenin-labeled probes are detected with HRP-conjugated antibodies, while biotin-labeled probes are detected using AP-conjugated streptavidin. Chromogenic substrate reactions generate distinct color precipitates that can be visualized by standard light microscopy.

Detection Method ZytoFast PLUS

The ZytoFast PLUS system uses Digoxigenin-labeled probes detected by primary antibodies, followed by polymerized enzyme-conjugated secondary antibodies to amplify the signal. Subsequent reaction with chromogenic substrates such as NBT/BCIP, AEC, or DAB produces strong, easily visualized staining patterns.
