IHC of CK Oscar on FFPE Breast Tissue (ALK Brown)
ICH of P63 on FFPE Skin Tissue (ALK Brown)
IHC of CD34 on FFPE Placenta Tissue (ALK Brown)
|Intended Use||For In Vitro Diagnostic Use|
|Summary and Explanation||PolyDetector Alk Brown Ready-to-Use Substrate-Chromogen is a solution suitable for use in immunohistochemical, immunocytochemical and in situ hybridization procedures using Alkaline Phosphatase Detection Systems. PolyDetector Alk Brown Ready-to-Use Substrate-Chromogen allows for the demonstration of tissue antigens or nucleic acids in paraffin-embedded tissues, cryostat sections, cytosmears, and cell preparations.
The substrate-chromogen is the final step in the detection portion; it enables the antibody-antigen-enzyme complex to be viewed under the light microscope. This occurs when Alk Brown, in the presence of Alkaline Phosphatase, gets deposited at the site of the target antigen or nucleic acid, producing a brown color. Alk Brown is soluble in organic solvents and therefore should be mounted with water-based mounting media, such as Aqua Mounter (BSB 0090-BSB 0093) or can be mounted with permanent medium when using the Bio SB ChromoProtector (BSB 0151 – BSB 0156).
|Presentation||PolyDetector Alk Brown Ready-to-Use Substrate-Chromogen is a solution (color forming molecule) that develops into a brown precipitate.|
